NASCAR 2003 Blend lighting issue..

Must be an old DX7 or 8 title. Back then alpha blending didn't exist. That is what is used to enable edge blends.

So I guess there is nothing that can be done to fix it?? either way I am glad the blend still works tho

Not sure there is a method to fix it other that making an edge buttting calibration just for those dx7-8 titles and swap out calibration loading on those. Not ideal. I'll ask again if there is an option to fix it. The old answer goes back to our previous programmer. The current programmer might have new tricks to get around the issue.

Well I can try the Edge butting trick did not think of that thank you.. Hopefully it wont look to bad with edge butting..

Load/save two different calibrations. One for butting and one for blending. Not ideal but will work as a stopgap measure

I did try and loaf Janes F/A-18 and I did not have that banding in the blend area and it is a DX7 title?? I was wondering could it be something else that caused that as it is not happening with JF/A-18??

Hrrrm interesting. Might do diagnostic logs from both to see how it shows in the logs.
