Still not understanding why it's acting like that. With it being a clean install of Windows 7, is it 'patched up to the most current service pack, and windows updates and DirectX runtime installer? During Windows 7, Microsoft did mess with WDDM changing it. That has effected a few things in the past. Patching to most current service pack and Windows updates fixed previous WDDM issues.
