Picked up a roll of indoor/outdoor black carpet for the floor of the screen area. Finally unpacked the projectors. Now I'm clearing out space for the screen in my shop area. Waiting for a few warmer days to continue the screen build. Doing a screen build up in winter in a shop isn't 100% ideal. The room is there, just not the climate control. Thank goodness projectors push a lot of heat.

Where did you get the ceiling truss?

I've had it for awhile. It's the truss I used for convention booths. Originally purchased it from Cheap Lights in Houston. http://www.cheaplights.com/ I drove down to Houston in 2012 to get the truss sections. Shipping was crazy on truss, so it was just easier to drive down with a pickup and get it. If I recall it was around $10/foot, so the 4-foot sections were around $40 and the 6-foot sections were around $60. I don't recall what the connector blocks cost. I used this truss throughout 2012 for marketing booth events but switched in favor to a popup tent in 2013 because logistically, truss is a total pain to set up and take down on short notice. I'm using some of my older labor intensive pieces because the screen is going to be up for awhile. I'll be using this setup throughout 2015 to do tutorial and marketing content.

Slow going today. I'm wiping down the individual truss pieces because they got pretty dirty in storage. That's slowing me up a bit. I have about a third of the truss built. Hoping tomorrow will be a bit more productive.
