Got it all sorted out. Found out the hard way that all 3 displays had to be on same card.

Correct, all ports need to be on one card. That was why I was suggesting the DVI, HDMI and one of the mDP ports to push to the projectors. The second card can still be used as a CrossFire card. All the ports out to the projectors need to be on the first card though.

Brad

Thanks for your help. All projectors were being powered by one 7970, but last night the DVI became unplugged ( tripped over the cable ) while the pc was powered and, now, despite multiple restarts the DVI port is not being recognized by the PC. The other two projector ports ( HDMI and mDP ) are still good. Any ideas ?

Thanks

Odd, my first guess would be that either the cable is lose somewhere or it's now a bad cable. Try shifting all the connections to the second card and see if that changes anything.
