I will post what I have of my build here.

- 1 piece of 3/4" MDF cut 2 times and then held side by side and sanded at the curve to be even.

- more framing and painted to seal it up and slow down possible warping of the wood.

I do have a question that has been perplexing me.. How did you or what did you use to draw that radius on the MDF??

For my 2013 screen I used a spool of wire and a pencil. Just affixed one end of the wire to the center-point and the other end to the pencil and drew the line like a protractor. Once you have the first piece done, use it as the template for the rest. Sort of a crude way of doing it but it works.
Cool videos. Looks like the paint works good at wide angle in the second video.
