Alignment curved screen - Issues

A catch-all forum for topics not directly related to NTHUSIM.

Postby GDR » Tue Oct 31, 2017 1:46 pm

Hi,

I'm running the lastet version of NTHUSIM with 3 projectors on a curved screen.
I'm running FSX and Prepar3D.

I've noticed that the lines in the game, like threshold, holding side, taxi lines [specially the horizontal ones], projected are bent (curved) instead of being straight.

Anyone an idea on how to resolve this?

Thx,
Regards,

Geert

I'm in the process of writing up a how-to that'll directly address this. Another P3D user has asked me to walk through the steps on how to setup the camera views in P3D. I should have something initial for those that want to look over the draft later this week. The issue is specific to how cameras are configured in P3D and FSX, not really anything to do with Nthusim. A lot of Nthusim users need to know how to address the issue though, so I'm looking to help out with the how-to explaining it.

Awesome!

I knew it had to do something with the cameras 8-)
Thank you very much Brad! Can't wait to see it coming!

I apologize for the delay in getting back with you on this. Andy and Alex are causing significant issues behind the scenes for me, which has tied up my time on getting this done. In the meanwhile my suggestion would be to use Window Maker.
