Hi Brad,

Since a couple of weeks we use a new pc with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. We had strange problems with Windows, after starting the pc sometimes all applications could not be started. "Windows is unable to start this application"! We tried a new installation en slowly installed all software again, no problems detected anymore, until we installed Nthusim. Do you have any idea about this issue? Where can i find release 3.5, on our old pc we used this version!

Version 3.5 was an internal development version. I'd recommend either 3.4 or 4.0.226 be used instead.

Do you happen to have an anti-virus utility installed? Sometimes Nthusim sets off a false positive detection and the anti-virus tries to lock it down.

Need a bit of clarification, is Nthusim able to run or is the problem with the applications themselves not running? Which specific applications are having issues?

Hi Brad,

Unfortunately we are still unable to use NTHUSIM on our pc’s. We have tried to install on different platforms/pc’s (windows 7 professional, windows 7 home premium, and windows 7 ultimate), the installation goes perfectly. The trouble starts once we try to open NTHUSIM. A messages pops-up and says that the computer is unable to run the application NTHUSIM, the code which is given is the following: 00xc0000018.

Once this message is being presented we are unable to open any other applications like: notepad, paint, internet explorer, task manger etc.
The NTHUSIM versions which we have tried to installed were the versions v3.3 and v3.4. In your last reply you mentioned something about NTHUSIM v4.0.226, unfortunately we were unable to find the download link to this version, could you please forward this?

All these troubles have started since we upgrade our pc. We have a new motherboard ( MAXIMUS VII), a new CPU (Intel i7 4790K, new RAM (2x4GB), and a new hard drive (SSD).

All these problems are very unfortunate since we are unable to use our flight simulator…..

Please help!

I'll send a link to 4.0.226 later this morning.

A few times during Windows 7 lifetime Microsoft has patched updates to the WDDM portion of the OS breaking compatibility. Make 100% sure you are fully updated to the most current WIndows Updates for Windows 7.

Do you happen to have anything that uses an overlay mode or a competing product installed? They use similar injection methods and can conflict.

I believe 4.0.226 fixes the issue. I'll be updating the Store download link to 4.0.226 later today.

December now and the store still links to 3.x version. I have the exact same problem.

We're in the process of doing away with the Drupal website in favor of Wordpress. Part of that updates the download links and website content.
