Short throw Projector Choice

Looking for some feedback or experience in using the BenQ W1080ST vs the Optoma GT760. I know BHawthorne has been a long time fan of the GT720s. The cost savings is important but will I regret sacrificing the pixels?

It really depends upon the screen size. If the screen height is taller than 60" you'll definitely need 1080p. 60" height is pretty pixelly at 800p. Using the Optoma GT720 is a deliberate compromise to keep costs down. I'd just as soon always use 1080p.
