nThusim Configuration Setup??

Hey All,

I am wondering If I am doing the configure correct. When you bring up the configuration the vertical bars where the screen meets do they just but up together or do I overlap them??

Now in the screenshot there is a gap which is not present in the Games.. I also have it lined up better but ingame it appears to be a little misaligned is it because my screen is on a 45deg. angle??

Using edge blending with three flat panels is a bit tricky because you need the 15% overlap to coincide perfectly with the center of the corners.

One trick I've not talked about yet with use of flat panel correction -- use the "M" key to toggle curved or linear mapping.

Yes, it worked. It's showing "edge butting", not "edge blending" though. Both ways work, just more people have been using edge blending in current configurations. Edge butting is a lot easier to configure. Edge butting was the old way we used to do configurations before 2010. The benefit of edge butting is you are losing minimal pixels in the setup because you have no overlap area for blends.

I believe one side of the blend is pulled over 1-2 pixels too much. Other than that the blend looks pretty well dialed in.

This is the first time I've seen good example pics of a triple flat panel layout and edge blends on Nthusim. I might work with you to help make a configuration how-to for triple flat panel screen config. Looks good. 99% of the people have always been doing triple-projector uniform circular. It's good to show others how to do alternate setup options so they know there can be variation on screen designs.
