XPlane10

How to optimize games for NTHUSIM products.

Postby Triple 7FlightSim » Mon Jan 26, 2015 5:52 pm

Hi Brad
I have a registered copy of Nthusim plus and currently use it for FSX but I would like to move over to XPlane10 ,
I have 3 projectors plus matrox triplehead2go setup, works wonderful for FSX, have tried XPlane10 with no luck.
At the moment I'm thinking it does not support, if by some miracle it does, can you let me know how to set it up.
Thanks Robert

It should be ok in X-Plane 10. Which operating system? Which video card and driver version? Are you using it via Steam? Make sure to turn off Steam in-game overlay in Steam preferences. Both the overlay and NTHUSIM use same injection methods and they conflict.

Yes, NTHUSIM always needs to be running before the application you want to pre-warp. NTHUSIM can be minimized to the taskbar. Just make sure not to close NTHUSIM because it needs to be running in the background.

Nvidia has been problematic as of late because they keep on adding in things like Nvidia Experience and the shadowplay streaming. You might go into Nvidia Experience and turn off the streaming and recording options. They might be interfering.

I've ran a few tests recently and X-Plane works fine on my setup. I'm using the Steam version with the Steam in-game overlay turned off.
