Brisbane office already wants it out, but I want to make sure the Nvidia bugs are addressed. As soon as the issues I've encountered with Nvidia drivers are isolated and fixed it'll be out. For some odd reason the bugs are not showing up on the AMD side.

The bug reports were completed in mid-December just before everyone went on break. I've been sitting on my hands waiting for everyone to get back into the office. Shawn, Ed and Alex are back at work on Nthusim 4.0 as of last week. Andy is still in the UK till the 15th. He's management and not a part of the programmers though. With the addition of FSX Steam Edition and a few new racing sim patches on Steam we caught a few more bugs that were added to the list.

Frankly, the main issue is Immersaview has manpower issues. They're spread too thin with too many projects. It's been frustrating on my end, because I have no real control over anything other than the website operations and customer service component. Commercial projects get priority for Immersaview. NTHUSIM is essentially a 20% time side project for Immersaview that gets spare time manpower. When there is no spare time NTHUSIM suffers. At the moment Immersaview finished up some time consuming work with VADAAR and now have some time for NTHUSIM again.

A hard and fast list of what needs to be done before Nthusim 4.0 gets released:
Issue #1: There is a desktop snap-to issue that needs fixed. Windows snap to the bottom of the taskbar, not the top when maximized.
Issue #2: P3D 2.4 needs menu and options bugs addressed.
Issue #3: FSX Steam Edition needs to fix CTD on launch.
Issue #4: AMD setups are losing cursor in a few games using certain directx render pipelines.

The issue was compounded by the fact that some bugs don't exist on both Nvidia and AMD, but are driver specific.

It'se a real shame !!! It's been a while now that we're waiting a fix for P3D...

I'm really upset with Nthusim, and will now revert back to Fly Elise Pro, yes maybe it will be a little more complicated to setup but I will now have the guarantee that it will work fine with my software.

I really got the feeling that I've lost my money

I let Alex know. If you want to contact him directly I think it would make a difference. My intent is not to lose you as a Nthusim user. I just think there is a disconnect here with management explaining the issue so they can get it fixed. You're just as frustrated as I am right now, because I refuse to release Nthusim 4.0 until it's functional and Alex has issue with that. I don't want something released that isn't working right.

Alex's email is alex . streit @ immersaview . com. I think it's worth emphasizing that the state of Nthusim is driving customers away. These issues have been persistent for right around 18 months now. Ultimately Nthusim has no product if P3D doesn't work right. Manage needs to understand that asap.

Good Morning,

Since my last post, I Was expecting that things would have moved forward with a release of a new version Fully compatible with P3D but unfortunatelly it's not the case

As I said before it's a real shame to see that the askings from customers for and update is not considered at all !!!

Can we accept to wait indefinatelly to get an update ?

I've been obliged to buy a week ago the Display Pro from Fly Élise and again spend 150€ for a software I'm taking my head with because it's a real mess to set up.

My question is : Is Nthusim already a dead software with no chance of incoming update to the "announced" version 4.0 ? Or maybe a miracle could happen ?

Frankly, from a software engineering perspective it is in indefinite limbo until Immersaview gets it's act together on staffing. I'm being hung out to dry like the rest of everyone. The problem is I have to answer to customers in the process. You're not the only one annoyed right now about the state of things. Immersaview keeps on telling me they will do this and that and never do. I look at everything and come to the conclusion that when Emmanual died in 2013 is when Nthusim more or less died because Immersaview keeps on stating things will be done but there is no forward momentum. From my perspective they're screwing up and burning up my credibility in the process. I've not been happy about things for the last year or so. Nthusim has the potential to be great and Immersaview are squandering it.

I totally agree with you Brad, and off course know that it's not you're fault as you're not the direct developper of the software...

Would it be possible to get a "beta" version of the version 4.0 ? I've seen in an other post that you proposed someone to get a link to this version... maybe it could work better with P3D and solve some bugs ?

Yes, I can email you a link of it. It uses the same license system as 3.4 and 3.5, so it'll activate in the same way as the released version.
